Where does Fried Green Tomatoes travel?+
We travel throughout the region for fairs, festivals, and community events. Follow us on Instagram or check our Events page to see where we're headed next.
How do I book the trailer for my event?+
Call (219) 765-5152 or fill out the contact form. Most events are quoted within 24–48 hours.
How far in advance should I book?+
Large festivals should book 60+ days ahead. Smaller community events usually need 2–3 weeks. Last-minute? Call us — we'll do our best.
Do you offer vegetarian or vegan options?+
Most of our menu is vegetarian (fried green tomatoes, okra, pickles, ribbon fries, corn, plantains). Ask us about vegan-friendly batter for events.
What are your allergen practices?+
We fry in shared oil, so cross-contact is possible. Let us know about allergies (gluten, shellfish, peanut) and we'll walk you through what's safe.
What payment methods do you accept?+
Cash, Venmo, Cash App ($chinitalindsay8), PayPal, and MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. Cards can be tapped, chipped, or swiped in person — or scan our QR code at the trailer to pay by card.
Does the menu change?+
Yes — the menu shifts by venue and event requirements. Expect Southern staples like fried green tomatoes, okra, pickles, ribbon fries, corn on the cob, and plantains, with rotating additions.
Are you insured?+
Yes. We carry general liability insurance and can provide a Certificate of Insurance for venues that require one.
